The Charter for the St.Paul’s Lodge of Mark Master Masons No.131 English Registry was obtained from the Grand Mark Lodge of England in April 1871 however for reasons that have not been established, the Charter was not used until 17th January 1884 when the Lodge was formally opened for the first Congregation by the R.W.Bro. the Hon.William Badgely, District Grand Master of
Montreal and William Henry.

St.Paul’s Mark Lodge No.131 has since enjoyed a continous existence  and celebrated its Centenary meeting on the 17th January 1984. An especial Congregation for Grand Mark Lodge to formally present the Centenary Warrant took place on 25th May 1984, with the Pro Grand Master from England in attendance: M.W.Bro.Dr.Gilmore Leonard Colenso Colenso-Jones, accompanied by the Grand Secretary: R.W.Bro.William Leake, PJGW.

The Mark Lodge meets four times a year on the fourth Friday of February, the second Friday of April, the fourth Friday of October and the second Tuesday of  December in Harmony Hall, 14100 Pierrefonds Blvd, Pierrefonds, Quebec at 7.00pm. The October meeting is sometimes held in Aylmer,Quebec for the benefit of the Ottawa Bretheren.

Visiting Members of Mark Lodges in England are most welcome to attend meetings while visiting Canada. Companions of Quebec Chapters are eligible to join the Mark Lodge having received the Mark degree in their Chapter.
